Product
Certification for Insulating Glass Units is the ultimate
endorsement for our products, by considering performance
(through testing) and production (through quality
management)) we are able to demonstrate to specifiers and
purchasers that our products not only meet the test
requirements but that every product produced will also
meet the same high standards. In this way we offer
confidence to the end-user that the installed window will
meet these exacting standards.
To achieve and
maintain this standard we have to submit products to a
UKAS accredited test laboratory (Chiltern Dynamics) who
carry out stringent test to ensure that the product meets
or exceeds the required standard.
The scheme
includes periodic audit testing to prove the product
arriving on site meets the same standards as that
originally tested.
It also
includes regular auditing of the manufacturing process by
a specialist auditor.
BSEN 1279
replaces the old BS 5713 Standard.
We have
also further achieved ISO 9001:2000, which replaces the
older
ISO 9002:1994 Standard.
This also
includes regular auditing of our Quality Management
Systems by an independent specialist auditor.
The
achievement of these accreditations demonstrates our
commitment to total quality production and management
system's, which ensures that our customers consistently
receive products of the highest standard.
